Hm, what to say? I’m a sixteen-year-old brazilian girl called Ellen, and I have a passion for pretty and shiny things , anime/manga, rainbows, dresses and long hair. That’s why all my girls non my drawings have such a long, beautiful hair! I also love reading books when I have the time, I’m an assumed internet addict  and I love History, it’s my favorite subject at school since I was five Oh yes, I also like cooking!

Wow, looks like this happened forever ago. I found dA while I was browsing the internet looking for game fanarts to make albums on my Orkut I always loved collecting images in general, and even more when I coud find unofficial and beautiful fanart  so I found dA, and I was amazed at all the wonderful Works I just found here and anywhere else... two weeks ago I made my account. It was almost inactive for the first three months, but after I decided to be active here I never looked back!I love dA

When I was looking for those fanarts, I was playing a Playstation 2 game called Odin Sphere and one of the main characters is called Gwendolyn at first, when I started playing, I admit I didn’t like her but as I played more I started loving her, and she turned into one of my all-time favoritegame charactersd so when I made my account here I had that Gwendolyn name in mind and I used it. As for 12, it’s my favorite and luck number and also my birthday date (12/12)

The feeling of being at home with this community. I change my mind and lose interest in many things quickly and easily, so it’s also easy for me to leave a site, for example, as soon as I lose interest in it - but that didn’t happen with dA. I joined and left many, many other places before and after I found dA, but this is the only place I keep sticking to I feel  happy and accepted here like I never did anywhere else, on or off-line, and I could do anything just to stay on this site(and believe me, to get internet and be active here I already did some crazy things). And all because I met lots of fantastic people here who treat me as a true friend, lover or even a sister;__; and I love it. Who doesn’t appreciate being loved?

I don’t think so. As good deviant, I explored every single feature the site offers from the chat to critiques, from prints to Discover – I try everything. But if I had to pick the ones I use less, then I would pick Discover, simply because I am more used to find new artists on groups, and Muro, because I love it but my connection doesn’t

I think I like art almost since I was born but it surely did beome stronger when I joined a painting course when I was nine (that lasted only a few months though, after that I had to move to another state ) I loved my teacher there and I won’t ever forget her and what she taught me, even if the course was mainly of oil painting and I don’t use oils anymore. She made me start working a bit more seriously on art, and after that I can just say I only improved

But to list a few, `Hellobaby (she’s my all-time favorite artist, I absolutely LOVE her!) *StellaB (she was the one who made me want to join dA once for all, while browsing I was lucky enough to find her stunning fanarts and I wanted to see more) , `Cataclysm-X (she was the first traditional artist I ever met on dA when I was needing a motivation to keep working on Trad. Media after so much digital art I found here;-; No need to say how inspired I became after being blessed to see her fantastic traditional art!), *sylphielmetallium (I’ve been following this girl since her early days here on dA; I’m so proud of how far she came!;u; ), ^rydi1689 (not only a fantastic artist but also a great friend and my shining light on the devious path), *laverinne (I LOVE her detailed art<3), ~Piece5113 (she was the one who made me get into using textures on my art, I love her art;3; ), ~Miss-Heart (a fantastic friend who supported me SO many times and with an incredible art-style I haven’t found anywhere else), ~Feidhelm (because  watercolors are beautifull!) ... and too many more to list!
Of other galleries, but who also inspire me, `PatrickRuegheimer and ^3wyl from photography (their pieces are like...wow.<3 and they’re such wonderful friends!), $namenotrequired and `Kneeling-Glory from lit (they always inspire me with their pieces, I love them so much;__; ), and `PainInTheAssimilated for Stamps (because he just. Trolls when they go too far in their trolling (in mild doses, they can be fun), and haters/flamers/spammers in general. I absolutely HATE those people._. also, people who attack others without a good reason (even if we all know that attacking isn’t a good idea at all in 99/100 of cases), and if they are my friends then... they can be prepared to feel my rage.

I feel bad. Like, very bad. Because I’m a fellowDD suggester and I even watch a lot of people just to follow their progress so once I can suggest them for DD’s and I got mosto f my best friends through this, so it’s hurtful for me to see when someone complain, and sometimes even flame a DD. I agree that some people can do reasonable critiques and I understand that, but unfortunately I’ve seen mainly people just plain complaning what would they do if they were the ones being attacked, I wonder? It’s sad to see how little respect artists have for each other sometimes. ._.

Generic response: Any! But yeah, I can appreciate any kind of music as long as they’re not sertanejo or funk (two brazilian music styles I plain hate). But I mainly listen to classic, rock, metal and pop I can’t draw, study or anything without music. So my playlist is quite long and I’m always adding to it ;3;

I can like almost every kind of movie (except horror maybe), but I often like fantasy or ‘artistic’ ones. The lastest one I watched that really amazed me was Black Swan. Best movie I’ve seen in years
