I hope you all enjoyed our PE week on Poetry Forms! Before I begin divulging our grand finale of the week, I want to share my since thanks to everyone who wrote an article, supported, helped organise and got involved with this week, you guys are really awesome!

And since we’ve got such a nice collection of articles, it would be naughty of us to now ignore them! To celebrate poetry forms week, we have a contest for you!
TWO FORMS, ONE THEME
The contest challenge is simple: Write two poems of the same theme, but use two different fixed forms.

A few days ago #Elocutionists received a huge helping of prize donations for an unnamed contest the likes and scale of which have never been seen on deviantART before. What is it, you ask?
It's a slam. A poetry slam. And it's Louder Than dA Bomb.
A poetry slam is a "no holds barred" spoken word competition. Poets are encouraged to alliterate, rhyme, shout, whisper, zing, compliment, parody, satirize, improvise, recite, quote, play with words and even sing if the opportunity arises.
For the longest time the #Elocutionists team have wanted to hear the roaring voice of literature, and this month we don't want to hear just any spoken word for a chance at prizes— NO! We want to listen to a writer's passion, emotion, and drive to keep being who they are; their inspiration to keep writing as they will and we want to hear you que

The CR Stamp Project

Stamps are a great way to show your support for a project, a person or a group of people, spread awareness for a cause or promote a contest. It is also valid to do them just for fun, with just a funny image and/or message.
Since their introduction to the deviantArt galleries, millions of stamps have been created with a great variety of messages, both silly and serious, and you can see them all over the place, from journals to profile widgets.
The Community Relations department exists to encourage, facilitate and develop the relationship with our deviantART community. Our goal is to nurture our community by encouraging, stimulating artists to create, collaborate, and participate in a friendly, safe, and supportive artistic environment.

This contest is all about supporting (RED), the cause known for fighting for an AIDS free generation by 2015.
The contest is split into three (3) categories: Deviant Stamps, Journal or Gallery Skins, and DeviantIDs. Each category will have one Major Prize winner.

As part of this weeks #projecteducate, we have interviewed two members whose work is almost entirely focussed on fixed form poetry- and in this instance Eastern Poetry.
In my early deviantART days, Eastern poetry writing went through a popular phase. There were regular HaikuWriMo months, challenges and clubs; some of which still continue in their own ways. Two members who have continued that popularity and developed their skills in these forums are `jade-pandora and *moyanII- both owners of a huge collection of Eastern poetry, DD's and beautiful creative writing. Both these delightful deviants have taken the time to share their experiences in this interview.

Literature Gallery RestructureUPDATED GALLERY STRUCTURE - APRIL 4
If you haven't browsed Literature lately, it's a mess. Sure, some of it comes from people whose work truly transcends genres (ever read the Library of Congress classification for Gravity's Rainbow?) and some of it comes from how people choose to interpret certain genres (godsdamnit, 'dark' is not the same as 'horror'! No, this gallery hasn't existed in ~6 years. Stop judging me).
But a lot of it comes from people having trouble navigating the galleries.
Based on your feedback and more backroom discussion, we've reupdated things! Please keep in mind that a lot of discussion went into the updates, so when you do get mad about them do it with the assumption that there's a reason behind this

PE: dA Related Collaboration Contest II

Welcome to deviantART Related's "The Collaborations Contest II", powered by #communityrelations. You will have two months to work with a partner in creating a dA Related deviation!

Ways to enter:

1. Work on your own. Basing your entry on an existing dA Related deviation (eg. find a visual suggestion and create a browser script to make it work).

2. Collaborate with another artist on a piece in one medium (e.g. make a stamp or deviantID together).

3. Work together to create two related deviations (e.g. a gallery skin design, and the coded version).

Submission Guidelines

The contest will be open to all mediums within the deviantART Related category, including deviantART Tutorials and deviantART Avatars.

If you can't find someone to collaborate with, comment below! There is sure to be someone else who can't find someone to work with, so you could find a partner that way.

Because the existing design is not actually "competing" with you, it doesn't need to be made/submitted for this contest. But a coded version would be accepted as long as it's submitted after the 18th of March.
