The first game in the Kingdom Hearts series, it is the result of a collaboration between Square Enix and The Walt Disney Company. The game combines characters and settings from Disney animated features with those from Square's Final Fantasy series. The story follows a young boy, Sora, as he is thrown into an epic battle against the forces of darkness. He is joined by Donald Duck, Goofy, and other classic Disney characters who help him on his quest.

10 years later, however, I wanna slap my past Mario-loving self because the game is love. ;A; I love it, the graphics, the maze-like storyline, the gameplay, and the characters. Most definitely the characters. ;w; I may have thought it was a bad idea to have Disney characters in the game, but that's what made it so much fun, amazing, and completely mind-blowing when I played the first one, through CoM, and II.
This may be so very, very late, but the 10th anniversary of Kingdom Hearts is so well-deserved, and the pieces you've chosen for the occasion capture the original spirit of the franchise. This article most definitely deserves a fave, and my undying gratitude for seeing this.
I've been waiting literally half of my lifespan for an ending to this series
