First off, could you give us a brief introduction of yourself?
Yo! <3 My name is Kristen, but most people know me as Bliss. I'm eighteen years old and live in the U.S.A.
What gave you the idea to register with your username?
BlissfullySarcastic was a pen name of mine, and this account was originally for lurking and writing, so I figured I'd use the same name. Oxymorons...fun stuff.
How has deviantART changed your life?
I've never really thought about it. Huh.
It glued me to my computer, if that counts as changing my life. It taught me how to trollolololo

How did you first discover deviantART?
:happybounce: I never knew about the internet until I was about 7 or 8 years old, where I would just play games on there once in a while. When I was about 11, I browsed around the internet a little more often, and ended up reading fanfiction of some movies and TV shows :shrug:. I looked at some of the profiles of authors, and some linked their dA accounts. I browsed around that deviantART for a short time and dismissed it as nothing.
Shortly after turning 13, my English teacher made my class participate in the National Novel Writing Month where I typed my fingers off over 21,000 words and became an active member in the forums. After almost one year, someone posted a thread about deviantART. I visited this wonderful community again, an

First of all, thank you so much for allowing us to interview you! If you don't mind, could you tell us briefly how it was that you came to be an official staff member, and about how long ago that was?
I'm happy to participate! Right to it, then. I believe I was first made a staff member back in the early 2000's...somewhere around 2002, perhaps. Back then the site was tiny, and so all of us members knew each other. My obsession with the site, at the time, was probably stronger than most and so I was given some minor staff duties like helping to organize content and dole out policy violations. The site has grown incredibly since those days, and our staff is far more specialized now, but back then everybody sort of did everything.

I love these articles! Thanks for sharing and for including my suggestion too! I hope it will be incorporated some day. It will make things sooooo much easier for those of us who create CSS skins. Also, if you notice, we have a very limited selection of gallery skins to use in comparison to the amount of journal skins. I'm thinking it just might be because it's almost too much a "hassle" to create gallery skins without having the preview option available!
